Central Library beside the Civic Centre and in front of the Civic Square. This
unique memorial is 36 metres long with a 27 metre long waterfall flowing over
the inscription "In Memory Of Those Who Gave Their Lives For Freedom". It was
unveiled in 1992 and honours all those in Mississauga who fought to keep Canada
free. One can appreciate the memorial day or night, because it is illuminated
year-round by lighting that comes on at dusk.
